PM Modi To virtually Address BJP National Office Bearers’ Meet

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually address a meeting gathering of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national office bearers on Friday.

The meeting of the BJP’s national office bearers was held on Thursday in conjunction with the meeting of the national general secretaries.

BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda paid a visit to an exhibition centred on the lives of Kushabhau Thakre and Sunder Singh Bhandari ahead of the meeting, reported ANI.

According to reports, Nadda received a detailed report on the states from the general secretaries in the meeting and instructed them to speed the party’s programmes.

Meanwhile, Nadda will preside over a BJP conference that would include senior leaders such as national office bearers, state party presidents, and organisational secretaries.

Apart from focusing on organisational concerns, preparations for the impending assembly elections this year and next will be on the agenda, reports added.

Assembly elections are scheduled for later this year in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, and next year in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Nagaland.

The tactics for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are also likely to be considered as are the celebrations marking the end of the Modi administration’s eight years in office and the strengthening of the party’s structure at both levels.
