PM Modi US Visit: Modi to observe International Yoga Day

National Desk,20 June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed for his trip to the United States on Tuesday morning and he will arrive at the Andrews Air Force Base in Washington on Wednesday.

PM Modi will meet with the top CEOs of Indian-American companies during his tour and on Tuesday he will preside over the celebration of International Yoga Day at the UN building.

After the yoga event prime minister will travel to Washington DC for a private dinner hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. This is the first state visit to the United States, making it a turning point for ties between India and US with deeper defence cooperation and focus talks with Joe Biden.

The food will be menued by Californian vegan chef Nina Curis in time for Modi’s arrival. Moreover, a violinist who has won a Grammy Joshua Bell will play music that evening. Bidens will host a dinner for Narendra Modi on Wednesday. He will then spend the night as a guest in the White House.

Along with the Bidens, thousands of Indian Americans are anticipated to congregate outside the gates of the official mansion of the US president to greet him. India is anticipated to have access to cutting-edge technologies that the US often only shares with allies as his visit to the US.
