PM Narendra Modi arrives on a two-day State visit to Bhutan

National Desk, 22nd March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced a two-day state visit to Bhutan on Friday, aiming to bolster India’s unique relations with the Himalayan nation.

Expressing his anticipation for the trip, Prime Minister Modi took to social media platform X to share his itinerary and objectives for the visit. He expressed his eagerness to engage in discussions with Bhutanese dignitaries, including His Majesty the King of Bhutan, His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, and Prime Minister @tsheringtobgay, to enhance the India-Bhutan partnership.

Originally scheduled between March 21 and 22, the visit was postponed due to inclement weather conditions in Bhutan. However, with the arrival of Prime Minister Modi, the visit is expected to proceed as planned.
