PM’s Mann Ki Baat to be Shown Every Sunday at Gandhi Darshan
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be broadcast every Sunday at Gandhi Darshan in Delhi’s Raj Ghat.
Vijay Goel, vice-chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti said that “Mann Ki Baat, which is telecast every month, will now be played on the huge screen every month at Gandhi Darshan. This project will begin on Sunday, April 24, when more than 1000 slum and JJ Cluster inhabitants will gather at Gandhi Darshan in Satyagraha Mandap in Rajghat to watch the programme.”
“Each participant will receive a Gandhiji book,” he added.
The participants would be shown a 20-minute film about Mahatma Gandhi after Mann Ki Baat. Gandhi Darshan will also have three museums dedicated to Gandhi’s life and three museums dedicated to the Centre’s cleanliness initiative.
According to Goel, this programme will take place on the last Sunday of each month, when Prime Minister Modi delivers his Mann Ki Baat address to the nation.
