Police vehicle hits minors in Dima Hasao
Guwahati: Three school students were allegedly hit by a police vehicle in Assam’s Dima Hasao on Monday.
The incident took place in Haflong of the district.
However, the incident came to light after the locals informed the media about the matter on Wednesday.
According to reports, the victims were students of Class VI and they were on their way to school when the vehicle hit them.
Meanwhile, the victims were identified as Serdalyn Phangchopi, Soniya Terongpi, and Mirdalyn Teronpi and all of them hails from the Govindanagar village.
As per the reports, the injured students were rushed to Umrongso health center and were later referred to Guwahati Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
It was further reported that no complaint has been filed yet into the matter.
It needs to be mentioned that the officials promise to carry all the expenses of their treatment.
