Guwahati: LPG (domestic cooking gas) price has increased by Rs 3.50 with immediate effect.
As a result of this hike, a 14.2 kg cylinder would now cost Rs 1,028 in Guwahati from today.
In Cachar, the domestic LPG price will be Rs 1,134.50 per cylinder. Whereas, in Kamrup, a consumer will have to spell out Rs 1,048.50 for a 14-kg cylinder.
Meanwhile, the price of a commercial cylinder has been hiked by Rs. 8.
A 19-kg commercial gas cylinder will set you back Rs 1750. The commercial LPG prices in Kamrup was Rs 1855.69, while a 19-kg cylinder will be available for Rs 1745.03 in Jorhat.
It needs to be mentioned that the LPG cylinder price has been hiked for the second time in a month on Thursday.
After the assembly elections held in five states, the prices of petrol, diesel, and LPG are being increased continuously. On March 22, the subsidised domestic LPG cylinder increased by ₹50. Earlier, after 6 October 2021, there was no change in the rate of domestic LPG cylinders.
