The Government of Punjab has decided to impose night curfew in the state from December 1 to fight the rise of COVID-19 in the state. The Chief Minister of Punjab in a statement said “the night curfew will remain in force from 10 pm and 5 am, amid apprehension of a second wave of coronavirus in the state.”
The Government has also ordered strict actions and double fine for not wearing masks or following social distancing protocols from November 1. Fine for not wearing masks in public has also been hiked from Rs 500 to Rs 1000.
