Quarantine Period after discharge of COVID patients reduced to 7 days

The Assam Government has decided to reduce the Home quarantine Period of the COVID-19 Patients after discharge from the Hospital, informed State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his twitter handle.

The Minister said that the limit of Home quarantine has been reduced to 7 days instead of 14 days and the government will also not provide the essential items worth Rs. 2000 which was earlier provide to the Patients after discharge excluding the People living under BPL, elderly People, ailing and to the Divyangan. The Minister in his tweet said,
