Raijor Dal Leader Joins AAP Along with 5 Others
Guwahati: Raijor Dal Vice President Kamal Kumar Medhi joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in New Delhi on Monday alongside five other members of the party.
Some Congress officials, in addition to Raijor Dal members have also joined AAP. Congress’s Manoj Dhanowar and Dwijen Gogoi joined AAP in the presence of its party National Secretary Pankaj Gupta.
Jitul Deka, Anurupa Dekaroja, Binoy Deka, Dipankar Kalita, and Dibyajyoti Deka are Raijor Dal members who have joined AAP.
In Assam, the Aam Aadmi Party is now working to expand its support base. In the recent Guwahati Municipal Corporation elections, the party gained confidence by winning one ward.
The newly elected members will also meet AAP Chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at 7 pm today.
