Road Accident on Barpeta Road Raises Road Safety Concerns
Guwahati, 7th August: In the early hours of Monday, a road accident occurred on Assam’s Barpeta Road, involving a vehicle carrying a group of Bol-Bom devotees and a speeding dumper.
The collision resulted in damage to the devotees’ vehicle, prompting concerns about road safety in the region.
Thankfully, no severe injuries were reported, and local authorities swiftly responded to the incident. Police arrived promptly at the scene, taking control of the situation and providing necessary assistance to the affected devotees to ensure their well-being.
In order to conduct a more complete investigation, the authorities seized the dumper that caused the tragedy.
