Guwahati: At least two people were dead in a tragic road accident while another person was injured in Charaideo district of Assam on Monday.
According to reports, the incident took close at Dhamdhuli village near Tenga Pukhuri.
Reportedly, the accident was caused by a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a scooter.
One individual suffered serious injuries while two people died in the spot.
The deceased were identified as Prabin Maliya and Deben Bora.The injured person has been transported to a hospital for treatment even though his identification has not yet been determined.
Meanwhile, an inquiry into the incident has already begun so as to identify the cause of the accident.
