RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat to Embark on Five-Day Trip to Tripura

Northeast Desk, 22nd May: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to visit Tripura from May 23 for a series of engagements, according to sources from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

During his five-day visit, Bhagwat, the ‘sarsanghchalak’ of the RSS, will meet with numerous Sangh ‘pracharaks’ from the northeastern region. Additionally, he will hold discussions with senior BJP ministers and leaders, including Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha.

To ensure his security, arrangements have been bolstered at Khayerpur Seva Dham in the West District, where he will be lodging. Bhagwat is scheduled to depart from the state on May 28.

Bhagwat’s upcoming visit echoes his 2022 trip to Tripura for a series of organisational meetings, which occurred a year prior to the state elections.
