Guwahati, 30th July: A sensational burglary sent shockwaves through Karimganj, Assam, as thieves struck during the early hours of Sunday.
The targeted location was Bylane No. 1 on Nilamani Road, where three rented houses belonging to Gopal Das fell prey to the cunning criminals.
Exploiting the occupants’ absence due to a summer vacation, the burglars seized the opportunity and ransacked the houses rented to Swapan Roy, Antalina Chowdhury, and Debojit Talukdar. In their daring heist, they made off with cash, gold ornaments, and important documents.
The entire theft incident was captured on CCTV footage, presenting crucial evidence that will aid in the ongoing investigation.
