Several parts of the Sikkim road traffic have been reported disconnected due to heavy rainfall since last two days.
As per the report the Soreng Sub- Division in West Sikkim is mostly affected and disconnected from rest of the State. Himmat Rai, SDM Soreng told over the phone that Budang to Chumbong road is blocked due to flash flood and boulders slip, and the government have senty machines for clearance.
Similarly formation damage have been reported at Chakung- Khaniserbong road. However other road are trafficable despite of several minor slips and all Feather Weather Roads are blocked due to minor and major slips and not trafficable due slushes.
