Sidhu Moosewala Case: Encounter Breaks Down Between Punjab Police & Shooters

Guwahati: The Punjab Police and gang members involved in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case got into an encounter on Wednesday near Attari in Amritsar.

According to reports, Punjab Police learned that thugs responsible for the murder of musician and politician Sidhu Moose Wala may be hiding in Chicha Bhakna hamlet in Amritsar, which is close to the Pakistani border.

Reports further stated that Gangster Roopa and his sidekick Mannu Kusa were reportedly sheltering there, per the information obtained from the sources.

The police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation during which firing was exchanged from both sides.

Both criminals are thought to be skilled shooters in the Siddu Moosewala murder case.

It needs to be mentioned that Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29 by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district.
