Sikkim: CAP Unveils Final List of Candidates for State Assembly Election

Northeast Desk, 26th March: Ahead of the upcoming Assembly election in Sikkim, the Citizen Action Party (CAP) has disclosed its final roster of candidates, comprising 13 names. The party, opting to contest the elections independently without forming an alliance, announced its candidates for all 32 assembly seats and one Lok Sabha constituency in the state.

The finalized list includes Gamesh Kumar Rai for Melli constituency, Pujan Kharka (Chettri) for Gyalshing Barynak, Prakash Parajuli (Sharma) for Maneybung Dentam, Dawa Ongi Lepcha for Rinchenpong – BL, Sonam Dadul Lepcha for Barfun – BL, Sanju Rai for Poklok Kamrang, Bikash Sharma for Temi-Naphing, Anil Kumar Nepal for Rangan Yangang, Pema Gyalpo Bhutia for Tumin Lingee – BL, Madan Kumar Shiva Shankar for West Pendam – SC, Ganesh Kumar Rai for Chujachen, Sonam Tshering Pelcha for Syari – BL, and Karma Tchering Bhutia for Martam Rumtek – BL.

CAP had previously announced the names of candidates in two batches, revealing its first and second lists, along with its Lok Sabha nominee, on March 22 and 24 respectively.
