Sikkim: Football Legend Bhaichung Bhutia Receives Honorary Invitation to Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Mandir Opening

Northeast Desk, 14th January: Football icon Bhaichung Bhutia has been bestowed with a prestigious invitation to attend the grand inauguration of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. The historic event is set to be graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by distinguished figures from politics, business, sports, and Bollywood.

The official commencement of the countdown to the momentous ceremony started with Vedic rituals for the consecration of Ram Lalla, the infant Lord Ram in Ayodhya, scheduled to begin on January 16. This initiates a week-long celebration for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir pran pratishtha.

Following the consecration, the temple gates will open for devotees to participate in the aarti ceremony. Three distinct types of aartis will be performed, with free passes issued for attendance. Limited to thirty individuals each, these aarti ceremonies promise a spiritually enriching experience.

On January 22, the pinnacle day of the week-long ceremony, a significant moment will unfold. Lord Ram will be ceremoniously seated in the temple between 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm, coinciding with the auspicious Mrigasira Nakshatra, symbolizing a celestial alignment for this monumental occasion.
