Guwhati: In a tragic incident, a school headmaster allegedly died in a road accident in Karbi Anglong district of Assam on Tuesday.
The incident took place at Silveta of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Lalajeet Yadav who was a TET teacher.
The bus with Registration No. AS09AC-8515 struck Lalajeet Yadav from behind as he was riding his motorcycle back to Bakalia / Volongkom Aji from Diphu after attending SMC training.
The out-of-control bus struck a dumper truck in addition to Yadav’s motorcycle. Yadav passed away immediately. Dhan Bahadur Thapa in the dump truck sustained injuries as well.
The late Yadav was survived by his wife, two boys, and a daughter. He hails from Pub-Silputa (Chauhan Basti), Bakulia/Volongkom Aji, Karbi Anglong.
