Six Pakistani Cricket Players tests COVID-19 Positive

6 of Pakistan cricket team member has tested positive for Coronavirus in their tour to New Zealand. According to reports 53 members of the squad were done mandatory COVID tests on their arrival in Christchurch on November 24 where 6 of the players tested COVID positive.

The New Zealand Government official sources has revealed that most of the Pakistani players breached the COVID protocol. A top official said ” the players will now be tested a minimum of four times while in managed isolation and the entire squad would be confined to their rooms. Several team members have been seen on CCTV at the facility breaching managed isolation rules, despite clear, consistent and detailed communication of expected behaviours.

The whole Pakistani team has been given strict warning regarding maintaining COVID protocols, Pakistan will play three Twenty20 internationals and two Tests, is scheduled to begin with the opening T20 on December 18 in Auckland.
