Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in a market in Dhubri district of Assam on Wednesday night.
The severe fire that broke out in a market close to Sahebganj village in the district destroyed up to six establishments.
The affected business establishments include a pharmacy, a grocery shop, two fruits shop and one tailor shop.
According to reports, the unheard-of fire damaged products worth more than Rs 40 lakh.
Reportedly, the cause of the fire is suspected to be due to a short circuit
Following the incident, fire tenders reached the scene and were able to stabilise the situation.
