Guwahati: The Assam Legislative Assembly speaker has issued a shopkeeper to vacate his shop which is situated at the Old MLA Hostel complex in Guwahati’s Dispur.
A new multistory residential building for MLAs will be built at the complex, thus the shopkeeper Subhas Barman has been asked to clear the area.
Due to this, Barman has been ordered to leave the store by January 20 without fail.
According to the speaker of the Assam assembly’s instructions, the estate officer issued the notice.
