Guwahati: The situation has turned chaotic at Jamugurihat in Batadrava today, after a specially abled woman was allegedly molested by a father of three. The incident is certainly unfortunate and concerning.
There has also been violence after the incident took place. There are allegations on one Sirajul Islam of attempting to set his own house on fire all intentionally.
The incident is from Nagaon district. The area comes under Juria police station, reference Jamaguri gaon. Locals have condemned the unfortunate incident.
Jamaguri gaon’s Sirajul Islam is also accused of impregnating the victim lady. She is said to be from the same village, which has further aggravated the tension.
Incidentally, Sirajul allegedly tried to force the lady to take abortion pills, following which she fell ill. This is where the health of the lady deteriorated; she fell sick. The police had arrived at the location, after the above-mentioned incident and necessary investigation follows into the case.
