Star Italian footballer Paolo Rossi passes away at 64

Former Italian football star and 1982 World Cup hero Paolo Rossi passed away at 64 age on Thursday after battling with an illness. Paolo Rossi also played for Juventus and AC Milan and led the Italian side to World Cup glory at Spain 1982 and also won the Golden Ball and Golden Boot with six goals.

Paolo Rossi played in 48 international matches where he score 20 goals for Italy between 1977-1986. For his outstanding performances in both International and club football he was also awarded Ballon d’Or.
