Guwahati, 15th July: The Special Task Force (STF) arrested two suppliers in a successful operation on Saturday in Guwahati of Assam.
Sources claim that the arrest of the two suppliers named Himanshu Paul and Kisan Kanwar Kadey led to the seizure of Rs 22.70 lakh in cash and a luxury vehicle from the arrested individuals. A motorcycle, 585 grams of gold, and four cell phones were also seized.
The market value of the seized gold is estimated to be around Rs 34 lakh.
The residence of Kisan Kanwar Kadey is in Rajasthan, however Kadey is currently residing in Guwahati’s Bharalumukh as a renter.
Reports further claim, Himanshu Paul hails from Shillong in Meghalaya.
The STF’s commitment to combating illegal activity and capturing individuals responsible appears by the arrest and seizure.
