Guwahati: Several stolen items were recovered in a raid conducted by the Guwahati Police on Friday.
According to reports, the city police carried out raids in a number of Guwahati localities, including Pan Bazar, Paltan Bazar, Latasil, Geetanagar, and others.
Several offenders involved in drug trafficking, robberies, and other crimes were arrested during the operation.
During the raid, the police discovered a recovered of items that were taken including cars, cellphones, narcotics, money, iron rods, cameras, and more.
One person was arrested with a significant amount of drugs as part of a Crime Branch raid yesterday,
The crime branch conducted raids at several locations including Ulubari, Pub Sarania, Gandhi Basti, and seized huge quantity of drugs.
More than 150 containers filled with drugs were seized during the raid and one peddler was arrested in connection.
The arrested peddler identified as Kamrul Zaman.
It was established that Zaman was involved in several robbery incidents.
