Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a first year student allegedly committed suicide on Saturday morning at Pathsala under Bajali district of Assam.
The incident was reported from Krishna Kanta Handique Junior College, located at college road at pathsala.
According to reports, the student was found hanging inside her hostel room of the college premises.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Moreover, local police arrived at the spot and start an investigation into the case.
However, The reason behind her punitive step is yet to be ascertained.
Another incident, last month in Guwahati Bhangagarh area a young girl committed suicide at her home.
The dead, was identified as Shreya Devi, who was a medical student studying in Orissa. She was found hanging at her home which was located at Silarai P0ath in SBI colony area.
Officials said that the dead girl took tough step as she was suffering from depression.
