Sunita Kejriwal to Lead AAP’s Lok Sabha Campaign Amidst Arvind Kejriwal’s Legal Battle

National Desk, 25th April: Amidst Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s ongoing legal battle, his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, is set to take the reins of the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Lok Sabha campaign, commencing with roadshows in Delhi beginning this weekend.

The decision comes in light of Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in March on charges of money laundering, leading to his judicial custody extended till May 7.

Sunita Kejriwal’s inaugural roadshow is slated for the Kondli reserved assembly constituency, represented by AAP’s candidate for the East Delhi Lok Sabha seat, Kuldeep Kumar. Subsequent roadshows are scheduled across the other three Lok Sabha seats contested by AAP in Delhi.

In Delhi, AAP has formed an alliance with Congress for the Lok Sabha polls, fielding candidates in East Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi, and New Delhi constituencies. Additionally, Sunita Kejriwal will extend her campaign efforts to AAP candidates in Gujarat and Punjab, featuring prominently in the party’s star campaigners’ list for Gujarat.
