Guwahati: The Regional Meteorological Centre has predicted the city of Guwahati would experience a drop in temperature between 2022 and 2023.
Guwahati’s temperature is predicted to hit 11 degrees Celsius on the night of December 31 and January 1, 2023.
It further noted that Guwahati would continue to see daily minimum temperatures of 11 degrees Celsius and daily maximum temperatures of 24 degrees Celsius.
Fog, mist, and gloomy skies have also been forecast by the RMC for these days.
The cold spell that has “cast” over the city just amid the New Year holiday season may require Guwahatians to plan their days in advance.
