Tesla Incorporation is gearing up for an India launch and is planning to import and sell the Model 3 for around ₹47-₹55 lakh in India. The price would be double the price in the US market as recently the US electric carmaker recently registered its Indian subsidiary in Bengaluru.
According to reports Tesla to annually sell 50-100 Model 3 sedans in India in the first few years. India’s growing electric vehicle (EV) market accounted for only 5,000 out of a total 2.4 million cars sold in the country last year.
