3 new containment zones declared in Guwahati
Guwahati, 5 June : With the detection of a COVID-19 positive patients at Bathou Nagar, Geeta Mandir in Noonmati, Krishna Nagar, Gosala in Maligaon and Central Jail in Guwahati, the following area has been marked as a containment zone.
BOUNDARY OF THE CONTAINMENT ZONE-
Bathou Nagar, Geetamandir, Noonmati:
North: Residence of Fakuram
South: Assam state Zoo Campus
East: Japorigog Hill
West: Village Road
Krishna Nagar, Gosala, Maligaon:
North: Krishna Nagar Road
South: Mitha Amtol
East: Adingiri Village
West: Gosala Adingiri Road
Central Jail:
North: Residence of Hiren Teron and Office of Coffee Board
South: Adjacent Road to Central jail
East: SSB Camp and Assam Police Plot
West: Main Gate of Central Gate
This order is made under the regulations “The Assam COVID-19 Regulations, 2020” and shall be effective from 06-00 AM of 5 June, 2020 until further order. Any violation of this order will attract action under the provisions of “The Assam COVID-19 Regulations, 2020” “The Disaster Management Act-2005”, The Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and other relevant laws of the nation.
