🇮🇳 FACTS ABOUT INDIA 🇮🇳

Dehradun is made up of two words “Dehra” + “Dun.” Dehra is derived from the word “dera”, meaning camp, and Dun or Doon in Garhwali language refers to a valley that lies between the middle Himalayas and the “Shivaliks”. … This is when the word Dehra was linked to Dun, and thus the city was named Dehradun.

During the British Raj, the town was known as Dera Dun. The city is believed to have been named after the camp, or dera, established by Baba Ram Rai, elder son of the seventh Sikh Guru, Guru Har Rai, who came here in 1675. He settled in the village Dhamawala, which even today hosts the annual Jhanda Mela on the fifth day after Holi in his memory.

😳Why❓❓❓

What is the cause of vomiting during pregnancy?

Research suggests that nausea and vomiting in pregnancy might be due to the effects of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). Pregnant women begin producing HCG shortly after a fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining.

Women with severe morning sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum) have higher HCG levels than other pregnant women do.

Similarly, estrogen, another hormone that increases during pregnancy, is associated with an increase in the severity of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
