Northeast Desk, 17th November: In a tragic incident, the lifeless body of 40-year-old Border Security Force (BSF) jawan Ishan Chandra Dora was discovered on November 17 near the Lankamura Iron bridge in Agartala.
Dora, a dedicated member of the 42nd battalion BSF stationed at Lankamura Border Outpost (BOP), was found dead while on duty.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the jawan fell from a culvert, leading to his untimely demise. Authorities have recovered his rifle, and there are no indications of bullet injuries on his body.
The police are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the incident to ascertain the events leading up to the tragic fall.
