Tripura CM Hails Modi’s 11-Year Tenure as ‘Golden Era’ for India
Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 11-year tenure as a “golden era” for India, crediting the government’s focus on inclusive growth, welfare schemes, and national development. Saha praised Modi’s leadership, saying, “We are truly fortunate to have a Prime Minister like Narendra Modi. This is indeed a golden era for India. The way he is steering the country forward, introducing impactful schemes, and uplifting the poor is commendable.”
Saha highlighted Modi’s push for regional inclusivity, particularly in the Northeast. “No previous leader gave such attention to this region. PM Modi believes that without the development of the Northeast, India cannot progress. This vision will be remembered in golden letters,” he said.
To mark the 11-year milestone, the central government released a detailed e-book chronicling key achievements across sectors since 2014. The document outlines policy actions under 14 broad themes, ranging from infrastructure and healthcare to digital governance and foreign affairs. The publication credits Modi with bringing a shift in the political and administrative discourse, describing his approach as “Vikasvaad” – politics centred around development.
The e-book highlights several prominent successes, including the management of the COVID-19 crisis, record vaccination drives, and increased exports. The digital transformation of public services, led by the JAM Trinity – Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, and Mobile – has also been a highlight. The government points to environmental leadership, cultural initiatives, and growing soft power under Modi’s leadership as signs of progress.
The government describes Modi’s administration as marking a journey of inclusive, progressive, and sustainable development. With Modi serving a third consecutive term, the focus remains on building a developed and prosperous India.
