The Tripura Pradesh Congress party today joined a mass protest in front of the old Raj Bhavan in Agartala to protest against the passage of three bills on agriculture in the Lok Sabha on September 17 and the Rajya Sabha on September 20 and the repeal of anti-farmer black laws.
Tripura Pradesh Congress President Piyush Kanti Biswas, Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress President Pujan Biswas and other Tripura Pradesh Congress party functionaries were present. Huge police and TSR forces were present at the spot. Several Congress leaders and activists have been arrested by the police from the spot.
