Union Cabinet Meeting To Be Held In Delhi Today

Guwahati: A meeting of the Union Cabinet is scheduled to be held in the nation’s capital on Wednesday.

The gathering was held two days after the Bharatiya Janata Party’s two-day National Executive conference in Delhi which began on Monday and ended on Tuesday with JP Nadda being re-elected as the party’s national president till June 2024.

This is the party’s first significant gathering since its resounding victory in Gujarat.

Addressing a press conference, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “I am confident that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and (JP) Nadda-ji, the BJP will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by an even bigger majority. Modi-ji will return to lead the country as the Prime Minister.”

As per reports, union defence minister Rajnath Singh proposed the idea for Naddda’s extension and the National Executive members unanimously approved it.

According to reports, PM Modi instructed party members to plan such gatherings like the Kashi-Tamil Sangamam in the future to foster a strong sense of cultural togetherness among the nation.

In order to ensure that all 50 states may exchange their cultures, civilizations, and legacy with one another and the nation as a whole unites culturally in a single thread of togetherness, Prime Minister Modi emphasised the need for more programmes like the Kashi-Tamil Sangam.

Reportedly, the delegates also talked about a nine-point political resolution moved by Kiren Rijiju, the Union Law Minister.
