Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal Attends Rozgar Mela in Aizawl
Northeast Desk, 12th February: Union Minister of Law and Justice (I/C) Arjun Ram Meghwal graced the Rozgar Mela held at Gajraj Hall, 2 AR Lakhimpur Battalion, Aizawl, on Monday.
Organized by the Lakhimpur Battalion of the Assam Rifles, the Rozgar Fair witnessed participation from all 47 states in the country. During the event, 18 candidates from Mizoram were appointed as Branch Post Masters and Assistant Branch Post Masters under the Department of Post, Ministry of Communication.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Meghwal congratulated the new appointees and encouraged them to give their best during their training. He emphasized the importance of their roles in serving the public and urged them to strive for excellence in their new positions.
Meghwal highlighted that all job appointments were made on a merit basis, in line with Prime Minister Modi’s vision for fair, transparent, and accountable recruitment drives.
The Minister also underscored India’s rapid development, noting its fifth position in the world’s economy. He emphasized India’s vision to become a developed country by 2047 and its leading role in global growth across various sectors.
During the mela, over 1 lakh job appointments were provided to candidates from 47 states and Union Territories across various departments, marking a significant step towards employment generation and national development.
