Guwahati: Commander-in-Chief of the United People’s Revolutionary Front (UPRF) was killed in a “factional clash” on Sunday in Karbi Anglong.
The C-n-C, Manggin Kholhou alias Verappan was killed in a clash between two splinter groups of UPRF at dawn in the heights of Singhason hills of Karbi Anglong.
Verappan was killed in a shootout that took place inside the deep forest. Following the clash, the police got the report on the incident based on specific source input and reached the clash site. The police then recovered the body and sent it to the Diphu Medical College and Hospital for the autopsy.
