Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has donated 2 lakh for the construction of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya. A Cheque of ₹ 2 lakh was paid to the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra. Earlier President of India Ram Nath Kovind contributed around 5 lakh rupees to the trust.
The Nationwide drive to collect donations has been given to the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust.
