Viraf Patel will make his bollywood debut film with Amir Khan
Television’s handsome hunk Viraf Patel is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Koi Jane Na.’ After having floored the audience with his acting chops in shows like ‘Ek Boond Ishq,’ ‘Mahi Way,’ ‘Kismat’ ‘Naamkarann,’ etc, as well as web shows, Viraf is excited about entering films. The actor, who recently got engaged to Saloni Khanna, giving a peek into his character, says, his role is everything he is not in real life. “My character is completely badass and sets off the story in motion. He is loud, misogynistic, and entitled, he’s everything I’m not. So, I’m going to ‘behave badly’ on-screen,” says Viraf. Directed by Amin Hajee, the film also stars Kunal Kapoor and Amyra Dastur.
Viraf says there are a handful of lessons he learnt from Aamir while working together on the film. “During the shoot, we would bombard him with questions. I mean he is one of the best minds in the business of films, and I wouldn’t waste this opportunity to learn from a mind like him. He taught me the reason you tell a story and decides how you say the story itself. Precision in his communication is marvelous. He likes to treat stories as a piece of communication and he likes to be precisely clear as to what we communicate through those stories. He ensures all the cinematic departments like the camera, the actors, the costumes, the set, and the props serve that ‘precision’” says Viraf. He continues, “His ability to remain curious and patiently listen even after being there for so long and having done all, is amazing.”
