Guwahati: In a follow-up operation after five suspected drug peddlers were arrested in Assam’s Nagaon district, two more persons were arrested in a drug case.
The arrestees are residents of the Morigaon district.
According to officials one of the arrestees is reportedly a dealer who used to bring supplies from Dimapur.
The officials recovered two boxes and 50 vials of Heroin and further seized two bikes.
Legal action has been initiated and further investigation is underway.
It may be mentioned that the Nagaon Police yesterday in an operation against drugs in various places of the district, Nagaon Police raided Mullapatty, Kadamani Pathar – Juria, Dimoruguri and arrested five persons from the areas.
