Guwahati, 25th October: The Guwahati Jal Board has issued an official notice to its consumers, informing them of an upcoming water supply interruption scheduled for October 25. This disruption is necessary for essential repair work in the Hatigarh Chariali area.
The affected areas include Bhaskar Nagar, Hatigarh Chariali, Sarbudoy Nagar, and others within DMA6G4. The Guwahati Jal Board expressed regret for any inconveniences caused by this interruption and the need for the repair work.
The interruption is a temporary measure to ensure that the water supply system is maintained and repaired efficiently.
Taking to X, the Guwahati Jal Board stated, “We would like to inform our esteemed consumers that water supply will be interrupted on 25.10.23 in DMA6G4 having areas namely Bhaskar Nagar, Hatigarh Chariali, Sarbudoy Nagar etc. due to urgent repairing work at Hatigarh Chariali .
