Guwahati: At least two people injured in a shootout at a biryani shop in Barrackpore, West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district.
According to reports, the incident occurred in broad daylight on Monday afternoon.
Reports claimed that three miscreants allegedly approached on a bike near the Barrackpore Wireless crossing and shot five bullets. The shop’s two employees were hurt. They were rushed to the hospital and are in severe condition.
Meanwhile, cops have arrived on the scene.
It may be mentioned that the police initiated a legal action into the matter and further investigation is underway.
