Guwahati: A massive fire broke out at a factory in Rathkhola area of Naxalbari.
This was stated by fire department officials on Sunday.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Officials claim that plant workers noticed the fire and put it out. The fire crews were informed when their efforts were unsuccessful.
Three fire tenders arrived to the spot as soon as they received the information and began the operation. They had to put out the fire for hours.
“Three fire tenders reached the spot. Our officers will find the reason for the fire shortly,” Fire Officer Ajit Ghosh said.
