Guwahati: A woman who was about to kill herself by jumping off a fly-over has been saved in Chandmari of Guwahati on Wednesday.
The woman has been identified as Puja Das.
According to reports, Puja was saved by the onlookers as just she was ready to take the leap.
Puja reportedly said that her husband had tormented her for a long time, pushing her to make such a drastic move.
Meanwhile, her husband has been identified as Milan Das.
Reports further claimed that Das works as a driver at the Chandmari Police Station.
Puja further accused her husband of having an extramarital affair with another woman.
It needs to be mentioned that she was handed over to the police by the locals and media persons present at the spot.
