Guwahati: A 24-year-old was allegedly murdered in the Bajali district of Assam on Wednesday.
According to reports, the deceased have been identified as Dhruba Choudhury who was found injured and was later rushed to GNRC hospital in Guwahati, where he passed away as a result of his injuries.
However, it is unclear whether the youths death was caused by an accident or some other kind of attack. His family members said that he was the target of moral policing.
They also filed a complaint terming the incident as a murder attempt to the Patacharkuchi police station.
Reportedly, the family members identified two potential suspects who may have been involved in the murder.
