Guwahati: A youth identified as Vishal Roy was stabbed to death in Guwahati’s Bhangagarh area on Wednesday night.
According to reports, the incident took place near the Nemcare hospital. Vishal was stabbed several times with a sharp weapon.
He was rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), however, the doctor declared him brought dead.
Vishal’s family members suspected that one of his friends named Sahidul killed him because of financial issues.
Meanwhile, the family member further registered a complaint at the Bhangagarh Police Station, and based on the complaint the police have arrest at least three persons in the case.
However, the police officials informed that further investigation into the case is still on.
