The Bengali political party of Tripura staged a mass protest in front of the Agartala Motor Stand Petrol Pump in against the hike in petrol, diesel, cooking gas and electricity tariffs. On the protest Gouranga Rudra Pal secretary of Tripura State Committee of Bengali Party was also present.
During the protest Gouranga Rudra Pal said that prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas have gone up 21 times in the last 20 days. Currently there is a lockdown in the whole country due to the corona virus hence there is not much human activity. So if the price of petrol and diesel cooking gas goes up like this then what will happen to the common people? If the price is not reduced then they will go for a bigger movement.
