At least 14 people were killed after a boat carrying migrants for Trinidad and Tobago was wrecked in sea. In the initial inspections carried out coast guards 11 bodies were recovered but eventually 14 people in total died in the havoc.
According to local authorities the incident might have a link with criminal gangs in the area and the preliminary information suggested that the boat departed on December 6 with more than 20 people on board.
