Guwahati: In a tragic incident, as many as 15 students are feared to be dead and several critically injured in after two buses met with an accident in Noney district of Manipur on Wednesday.
The accident took place along the Bishnupur – Khoupum Road near Longsai Tubung village under Joujangtek Police Station of the district.
According to reports, the incident occurred after the two buses carrying students lost their control while they were heading towards Khoupum for a study tour.
Reportedly, the two buses carrying students belonged to Thambalnu Higher Secondary School, Yaripok.
Apart from this, several students are feared dead in the accident.
