2 Boys washed away in Assam Flood of Rangia

Guwahati: In a tragic incident, two boys have been washed away by powerful currents caused by rising flood levels in Kamrup district of Assam.

The tragedy occurred at Septi in Rangia of the district.

According to locals of the area, four boys were videotaping themselves on a flooded road. At the same time, two of the boys were swept away by a powerful current of water. Since then, the two boys have been missing.

The boys identified as 15-year-old Juman Das and Himangshu Das. They were class X students of the Premada Shivnath Bidyapith in Rangia.

Meanwhile, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is conducting significant search and rescue efforts in the area.

Following the tragedy, the entire area has been enveloped in a veil of gloom.
